Delivery and Returns

This page explains how deliveries, damaged goods, returns and refunds are handled for orders placed with CXF Ltd.

1. Delivery Areas

CXF Ltd currently supplies goods to addresses within the United Kingdom unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you require delivery outside the United Kingdom, please contact us before placing an order so that availability, delivery costs and lead times can be confirmed.

2. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated and shown during checkout before you complete your order.

Where a delivery charge has been quoted separately, that charge will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing by CXF Ltd.

3. Delivery Times

We aim to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, courier schedules, order size, delivery location and any circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please note: Time for delivery shall not be of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing by CXF Ltd.

4. Receiving Your Delivery

The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the Goods at the delivery address provided.

If the Buyer fails to take delivery, or provides incomplete or incorrect delivery instructions, CXF Ltd may charge the Buyer for any reasonable costs incurred, including storage, redelivery or return courier charges.

5. Damaged Goods

Please inspect all Goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

If Goods arrive damaged, please notify CXF Ltd within 7 days of delivery. When contacting us, please provide:

  • your order number or invoice number;
  • a description of the damage;
  • clear photographs of the damaged Goods;
  • photographs of the packaging, where relevant.

We may request that damaged Goods are retained for inspection or returned to us before a replacement or refund is agreed.

6. Shortages or Incorrect Goods

If your order is incomplete or you believe you have received the wrong Goods, please notify CXF Ltd within 7 days of delivery.

If a valid claim is confirmed, CXF Ltd may, at its discretion, arrange for missing Goods to be supplied, incorrect Goods to be replaced, or a refund or credit to be issued.

7. Returns

Goods may not be returned without prior written authorisation from CXF Ltd.

To request a return, please contact us with your order number, the Goods you wish to return and the reason for the return.

Returned Goods must be unused, unopened where applicable, in their original packaging and in a resaleable condition unless the return relates to a confirmed fault or damage.

8. Non-Returnable Goods

Unless faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, CXF Ltd may be unable to accept returns for:

  • Goods that have been opened, used or damaged after delivery;
  • Goods that are not in their original packaging;
  • Goods that have been specially ordered, customised or supplied to a Buyer’s specification;
  • Goods that cannot be resold for reasons of condition, handling or storage.

9. Return Delivery Costs

Unless the Goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrectly supplied, the Buyer is responsible for the cost and risk of returning Goods to CXF Ltd.

We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service when returning Goods.

If Goods are returned without prior authorisation, CXF Ltd may refuse the return or deduct reasonable costs from any refund or credit due.

10. Refunds and Credits

Where a return is authorised and accepted, CXF Ltd may issue a replacement, credit note or refund at its discretion.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied Goods.

11. Faulty Goods

If you believe Goods are faulty, please notify CXF Ltd within 7 days of discovering the issue.

We may ask for details of the fault, photographs, batch information, storage conditions or other information reasonably required to assess the claim.

Where a valid claim is accepted, CXF Ltd may replace the Goods, issue a credit or refund the price of the Goods. CXF Ltd shall have no further liability except as set out in its Terms and Conditions.
