ERGOSOFT’S RIP
We sell Ergosoft’s RIP because it is bloody excellent. There, wasn’t that refreshing.
Doesn’t matter how many printers you’re running, what size, what kind, or even how much experience you have – Ergosoft’s RIP does everything, and works across every single printer, in an instant.
It also comes with a bunch of presets to stop your production managers from moaning all the way through their lunch-breaks.
Swiss, innit.
Works like clockwork, and comes with more useful tools than one of those fancy red pocket-knives

SO WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE
FOR RUNNING MULTIPLE RIPS?
Can’t argue with the theory.
Most printers come with bundled software. Manufacturers have a ‘one machine, one RIP’ mindset. Makes sense to them, but makes no sense at all in the real world.
Truth is, a smart RIP works across multiple printers – they all talk the same language.
Fair point. A lot of production managers will have a total meltdown if you ask them to fire up a RIP that works the way they don’t.
Dave swears by the Mimaki, Paul runs the Mutoh. But if Chris is on holiday then heaven knows who can swap a rush-job onto the Durst.
We feel your pain, but be honest. It’s your bottom line that matters – not their feelings.
DON’T BE DAFT.
You’ve invested £000s in printers. Roland, Mutoh, Mimaki, Epson, Canon. Agfa, maybe. An EFI, an HP, or VUTek. SwissQprint, even. Fair play to you, but that variety comes with a price-tag.
A smart RIP costs less from Day One. And it also makes you money on Day 2, 3, 4, 5…
FEATURES, HUH.
Worst thing in the world, is the idea of ‘having to learn another piece of software.’
However.
If everyone’s using the same RIP, then it doesn’t matter who’s on holiday.
And if that RIP has a rock-solid prepress suite, so you don’t need other software running, AND it will do things like print/cut together, AND it uses Hot Folders AND presets … well, now we’re talking.
IT’S A SCALABLE RIP
In short, Ergosoft’s RIP will run across any printers, anywhere – guaranteeing the colour you want, on the substrate you need.
LIFESAVER.
PRINT ‘n’ CUT
Again, Ergosoft is a standalone RIP that comes with all the tools you need to free up valuable time, such as print and cut and perf’ and cut, together.
PROFILING, MADE EASY
Free, fast, and so easy, anyone in your team can be making new profiles, as and when you need them. No more waiting until Dave’s finished his lunch.
HOT FOLDERS
We love hot folders. Basically, hot folders let you set up a job queue with confidence, and then bunk off to have lunch. No worries.
PRESETS – AWESOME
Ergosoft’s presets gets rid of all the repetitive little jobs that eat into your day. Things like adding margins, seams, eyelets, nesting – presets mean shedloads of time saved. Daily.
JOB COMPOSER
Every RIP has a prepress suite. You’ll recognise all the tools in Ergosoft – and in fact, when you use all its features, it’ll probably pay for itself.
LICENSING. WHAT’S THE DEAL?
The boring bit. Also known as ‘how we keep the pricing down’. Ergosoft licensing is based on how many printers you run. Entry point includes 1 printer and 1 cutter, and although someone will probably shout at us – we like being up front. Ergosoft starts at £1,650. However, if you’re running multiple printers, then you just add more queues, not more RIPs.
The point is this – you can run multiple RIPs, which won’t swap jobs in a nanosecond. Or you can run Ergosoft, which runs everything in an instant and makes everybody happy. No contest.
